Its secret recipe combines noble ingredients such as absinthe, gentian, cinchona, cola nuts and many other herbs, making it a product without equal, one of a kind. Even from its intense and varied aromas, one senses a product of great character – a quality that carries through to the tasting, where the balance between sweet and bitter is perfect. The bitterness enhances the palate, leaving a pleasant and refreshing aftertaste.
But the distinctive feature and true strength of Old1919 is revealed when mixed. The classic Spritz becomes a fantastic drink, whilst cocktails take on a gentler, more elegant character, creating long-lasting and delightful flavours. It is also perfect when mixed with Prosecco, Metode Champenoise or Champagne as aperitif or mixed with different fruit juices such as orange, pineapple or tropical fruit as a long drink.
