For the cocktail:
• 30ml Amaro Trevisano, Negroni Antica Distilleria
• 15 ml Sloe gin, Elephant
• 10ml Homemade ginger and lemongrass syrup
• Top Ginger ale, Fever tree
Shake & Strain
Double rock glass
and pickled pink ginger
Combine all ingredients (except ginger ale) in a shaker. Lightly shake and single strain into the double rock with ice. Top with ginger ale to give the drink a nice spicy note. Decorate with pickled pink ginger and fresh lemongrass.
Highly drinkable and refreshing, with moderate alcohol content due to the use of Amaro Trevisano, Negroni Antica Distilleria, 27% abv, a traditional digestif extracted from an infusion of late-growing Treviso Red Radicchio I.G.P. The tonic/bitter properties of this maceration process make it an excellent product to stimulate the appetite and aid digesting, and give it its purifying qualities.
This drink is then enriched with nice hints of wild prune, black pepper and toasted almonds, which add up to home-made ginger and lemongrass syrup to define the rich and spicy flavour of this cocktail.
